Ministries, Ministries and Ministries...

Well, finally my mid-term exams week have ended yesterday. Over the 7 subjects being tested, I managed to accomplish very well on 2 subjects, average on 3 subjects, and truly failed on 2 subjects. Oh well, I think I need to manage my priorities better for the end-term exams later. Because this week even if I was still having my exams, I still go around everywhere with Mee-a and June because they need a break (me too, actually, I get tired of studying). If I do that again on end-term, my grades will fall down... and I truly do not want that to happen... :|

So, what has happened during last week?

I finally joined the Agaphe Choirs, officially from last Sunday. But I don't know, it seems like my flames of passion have died down already and I don't feel like I'm feeling any push to be there anymore. That... is not good. Maybe I am just too tired. Oh well, I'll try to remember my purpose of being there then. If I quit now then I won't be able to join the cantata for Christmas. Heh. Must try to push myself harder and remember my commitment. Must press on.

I was also appointed as Spiritual Division of the Bible Camp Preparation Committee. So, we're going to have a retreat camp over here on August 9th to 11th, and my part on this commitee is to prepare the session topics, verses and the main theme for the camp. I haven't found anything until today and I have to submit those on May 2nd. The topics should revolve around "unity in fellowship" (to speak it in Indonesian: "keakraban"). All that I can remember right now are Psalm 133, the friendship between David and Jonathan, members of the body of Christ, and... nothing else right now.
If anyone of you can help me on this matter, please drop me a line.

So, to sum it all up, right now I have four ministries:
  • Worship Leader
Only once per six months, that's the rule in my fellowship because there's a lot of ministers.
  • Agaphe Choirs
Hope I can hold on to this one and make sure I didn't just follow my feelings after the cantata.
  • Wall-Magazines and Bulletins Division
Until end of 2004, but on 2005 it looks like I will be promoted as leader.
  • Spiritual Division of Bible Camp Preparation Commitee, until mid-August 2004.

It's hard work, I hope I can hold on and not fall down on the way. I must strive to be closer to Him again.
