Not much happened during these 12 days, except that the New Blogger.com left out some problems for me (and other users of w.bloggar) because the new Blogger API is not 100% compatible with the w.bloggar API. The author of the w.bloggar program needs some time to learn how the new Blogger API works and until today the problem hasn't been resolved yet. Fortunately I can still use this to post to the blog and do some editing stuff (but I can't access the template from here, I had to made these changes directly from Blogger.com), some of those other people can't even post, even more to edit or change the template. My cable connection lacks the speed and bandwith to be able to manipulate from Blogger.com so I had no choice but to use this program (other than that, this program actually makes it a lot easier for you to post to your blog because it has a neat interface). I changed my template from my university's computer laboratory where I can get barely enough bandwith to make changes.


Well, back to the dark style template, this one is inspired by The Outcasts Community's design. I think it's neater this way and I have got rid of large and troublesome blogheads. This one features a simple, clean yet meaningful bloghead with the quote there courtesy of Stephen S. Sawyer. I like his pictures and I like this quote so I guess it'd be okay to use his quote here. As much as I'd like to use his drawings for my bloghead, his pictures got some copyright protection so I wouldn't risk tampering with it. Well, actually this one has some copyrights too, but I think this one's been on too much Internet sites already, so why not put it here also? And I'm not using it in its full form.


Some news... last Saturday, May 15th, we celebrated the 12th year of the Latreia Youth Group. Although I've been only there for less than two years, that youth group has already got a lot of meanings for me, as my home, and the place I've been granted my ministries and the place where I'm given the chance to grow. Looking forward, we got a Mission Fair on August. There, the Agaphe Choir will have to sing a very difficult song titled "Mangga-Mangga Sami Nderek Gusti". It's a song using a Javanese language and it got NINE pages of musical notes. Just imagine how hard it must be to learn this song in eight weeks (and last Sunday was the third week). Some parts of the song got a real high tempo, so it's hard to sing... we had to maintain the tempo and remember all the musical notes in order to be able to sing correctly. Whew, I've made so many mistakes during learning this song.


That's all for now guys. This is the day when we are going to celebrate The Ascension of Christ. I think I'm going to watch Van Helsing after I go to the church, or maybe I'll have to go with the choir someplace else, who knows.
