The newspaper has been filled with news about the Sibuea sect these last few days. While I cannot say that the teachings of the Rapture in the Bible is wrong, but I can see clearly that what Sibuea is teaching is wrong. The activities of this sect has made it hard for us who wants to do evangelism as now people have put a bad stamp on Christians, especially those who believe and base their teachings and evangelism on the rapture and end of days (like me, actually I like to stress the importance of coming to Christ to those I wanted to share my faith by telling them about the rapture and how little time they have). Let's take a look at the teaching and what's wrong....

He said that Jesus would come and lift one by one believers that He wants to take. This contradicts the idea in the Bible that the rapture happens in an instant, that means *blip* and they're all gone, like what you see in the Left Behind. Moreover he said that the only people that He will take are only the Sibuean followers and He will come only to the church in Bandung where all the Sibuean followers are gathering. Clearly this is wrong, as the Bible said that He will lift ALL of His chosen people from ALL over the world. The idea that only the Sibuean followers that were gathering on the church would be lifted in the Rapture is simply unacceptable and bizarre.

The second one is that the world will be reigned by the Antichrist from 10 November 2003 to 11 May 2007, a period of 3.5 years and then the world will be destructed and the Earth will be no more. Clearly this man hasn't read much from the Bible. The Tribulation will consist of SEVEN years, starting from the signing of the peace treaty with Israel (and where's the treaty now then?). The first half will be the period of the Early Tribulation where the Antichrist claims his throne over the world, and then by the beginning of the second half, the Great Tribulation, four murders will commence, that is the murder of the Antichrist, the two witnesses (assumed Elijah and Moses) and the leader of the one world faith. The Antichrist will then rise again, this time indwelt by the Devil himself, and then the period of the Beast Mark begins. After 3.5 years then Christ will come in the Glorious Appearing over the Meggido in the last battle of Armageddon. It's all there in the Bible, just read it.

So if the rapture happened at the presumed date of 10 November 2003, the Glorious Appearing would be at 11 November 2010. And the world will NOT be destructed at that time, because starting from the Glorious Appearing, Christ will establish His 1000-years Millenial Reign on the Earth. After that, then will the devil be released from his prison and he will go to deceive the world once more and prepares the final war against the Kingdom of Christ in Jerusalem. And after the devil is defeated, he will be cast to hell, and then the world will be no more, and there will be the Final Judgement, and then we will all go with Christ to Heaven while the Earth, sky and everything will not be found in their places. Presuming the dates above, the millenial reign will be from 2010 to 3010 AD. Now you can see that the Sibuea teachings are really wrong and defies the Revelations.

I hope this can help you to explain to others about the mistakes of this Sibuea Sect, and I hope this matter won't hinder all of you from sharing your faith to others and harvesting souls for the Lord. God bless you all...

Finished reading this book too! And that means six books in about two weeks, so in 14 days I have read about 3000 pages of text. Phew, that's a lot, I feel rather dizzy after finishing this one. Tomorrow I must buy the next series, and I don't know what I will do when I reach book 10, as book 11 is not available here yet. The books has been also a blessing for the other people who read them, if they were in English I'm not sure if they would borrow. I will stop reading for a while because I have projects to accomplish, a lot of them. It is by God's given strength alone that I was able to finish typing my project for today (although that sapped a lot of my energy and I couldn't wake up in the morning to attend the 7.30 am class, but it's okay). I still have two more for Friday and Saturday, then I will be able to take a *little* breath before the next wave comes later on next week.

My relationship with God has also took a downturn. No more sitting down with Him in the morning as I must make haste to my campus, no more open talk with Him in the night (save talking in the heart with Him silently, can't speak it aloud as now I must pray in my room which I share with my brother, the upper room is no longer available for use), no more time for opening the Bible and seeking His Words (save reading Our Daily Bread, but that doesn't give much for me). And what's worse I have also fell into old sins *again*, so I must start from zero again and really try to be a soul harvester, as now I have TWO I must take care of when I have the chance.

So, I must try to keep a good schedule for study and for Him, and also try to fix my life and set my course again on the right path to be a tool, a soul harvester. It will be hard considering my currently overwhelming tasks and projects, but I will try little by little to change myself and be a better servant/children/soul harvester for Him. As a friend told me, "you can't pull someone out of the pit when you're in there too", then before I try to save others and harvest their souls, first I must make my own life just before the LORD. I must try to fight my weakness...

Finished reading this one yesterday and now entering page 110 of Apollyon. I spoke with Marisa about how I wanted to change the current name of my community "The Crossholders" to something that sounds more active like "Soul Harvester" (just holding is not my style, if need be, I'll do some bashing). She then tried to look at her Strong's Bible Dictionary and found the Greek words for "Soul Harvester", that is Pneuma Theristes. Sounds cool huh? I want to be a soul harvester, set to harvest souls for God. Some of you might have heard that a man at Bandung claimed at the Gloria Magazine that today The Rapture will take place in 9 am to 3 pm. I looked anxiously at my watch in the class as it showed 8:50, and as it hit 9:00, nothing happened. Actually I prayed yesterday that the Rapture would not take place today as there's still a lot of people I wanted to save first...

If the Rapture didn't happen today, that means we are still given the chance to share our faith and bring others to Christ. Do not waste any more time, be a soul harvester and harvest people's souls now while you still can. If you don't know how, ask God to show you the way and guide you. I have been given one friend to take care of, she's saved yet she still needs to focus more on Christ and seek Him more, and if possibly be I will also try to make her a soul harvester. And yet there is another will-be soul harvester, my friend's sister is planning to enter the Communication major. At first I refused because it is kind of dangerous (you know how people think about public relations girls now right?), but then I realized that by working as a public relations, she will be able to meet a lot of people, probably thousands a year, and who knows that she can introduce maybe ten of them to Christ each year? I'm sure that if God places her there, He will send His angels to protect her from evil and harm.

Go, soul harvesters! Harvest people's souls now for the LORD while we still have time!

Today I really felt the deliverance of God. Remember about the ad I designed? Well then after I submitted the CD containing the design to the newspaper, a friend of mine told me not to use the Photoshop format for a newspaper design, because when the newspaper drops the resolution from 300 to 100 dpi, the design would be really crushed and destroyed badly. There was nothing I could do to fix it, so I just kept praying "Father, help, help me...". I know I really can't do anything else, so I did nothing and just kept praying until yesterday. And when yesterday I braced myself and opened the newspaper, there I saw my design.... NOT DESTROYED. It seems like before the film was printed, my dad wanted to add some more content to the ad and he asked someone to add some content, and miraculously that person re-saved the design in a Freehand format, just what is needed, and so the design is saved from destruction. Phew....

The angels of God encampeth around those who fear Him. The hands of God is not short that it cannot save. I thank Thee, Father for Thy help and deliverance, and Thou have shewed great mercy, kindness and faithfulness upon me, your child. I thank Thee, Father. Now I know that it is only You that I can depend on in this world....
